Lardy Cake...

Our now famous lardy cake, has been sent, via Royal Mail, to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall and many many place in between!...,  

 Made using fresh bakers yeast,the fresh risen dough, is laminated with solid vegetable fat and British butter, with soaked, succulent Organic Mixed dried fruit, spices and sugar... all baked in a gorgeously sticky glaze/syrup. These arn't dry , they definitely contain enough calories to make your toes curl. These are made, very STICKY and contain fruit and a VERY STICKY THICK SYRUP, as known in Berkshire, Reading and surrounding areas, not to be mistaken with the drier regional lardy cakes in other parts of the UK

Now not only available as Vegetarian but also available as Traditional Lardy cake, which uses normal lard and IS NOT suitable for Vegetarians, these are baked in specific tins, used only for these.

 

If they are kept sealed in an air tight bag or box, they will keep for a week.
